Spring 2025
As 2024, the exam has two types of question: free form questions and multiple choice questions. Both types carry equal weight. Candidates must answer five questions from the four multiple choice and four free form questions. Thus in order to get full marks, at least one free form question must be completed. Clearly state which questions are to be marked, else they will graded in the order in which they appear in the answer booklet.
- The free form questions typically have multiple parts and guide the student through the method. Marks can be gained for showing working.
- The multiple choice questions do not require that the student shows working: either all marks or no marks are awarded. There are at least five choices, thus the chances of guessing the correct answer are not in your favour.
